Itinerary

MONDAY        Morning departure for Hastings, arriving in our hotel late afternoon.

TUES-THUR Enjoy Hastings itself and also explore the delightful coastline with the spectacular Beachy Head and the popular resort of Eastbourne, nestling at the foot of the South Downs.  The charming market town of Battle, home to the famous abbey, and the rich maritime history of Rye are also on our itinerary. And finally the friendly, olde world charm of a past age waits to greet you as the Tenterden Steam Railway takes you on a trip down memory lane on a nostalgic journey through the beautiful countryside.

FRIDAY          This morning we make our way to the city of Portsmouth where the old mixes with the new. You can take time to visit the Historic Dockyard, ascend the new Spinnaker Tower for unrivalled views, or simply enjoy the shopping! In the afternoon make our way homewards, returning around tea-time.
