The Royal Tattoo at Windsor Castle is a celebration through music, words and actions of today's armed forces, with a packed programme of international and British military acts, massed bands, pipes and drums plus ceremonies you will know and love including the Household Cavalry Musical Ride and the Musical Drive of the King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery, as well as a fantastic finale. This year the tattoo will tell a story of modern life in each of the services, the Army, Royal Air Force and The Royal Navy. All the money raised from the event will go to the Royal British Legion.

Itinerary
Wednesday: Leisurely departure to Windsor Castle with its Royal Palace, magnificent chapel and over 900 years of Briitish history. Time later to explore Windsor itself, perhaps taking a river cruise or exploring the historical heart of the town which is also a shopper's paradise with antique and designer shops alongside quaint, specialist and souvenir shops. Come late afternoon we will head to our hotel for dinner before the evening performance of the Royal Tattoo.
Thursday: A wonderful day in London, with a guided tour around the city's main sights in the morning followed by some free time for your own shopping, sightseeing or visiting attractions. Leave London around tea-time for the homeward journey, returning around 20.00hrs.
